Three FDL-Area Organizations Sign Memorandum of Understanding on Addressing Domestic Violence

Three Fond du Lac County organizations have signed a Memorandum
of Understanding in order to improve the way they collectively address family
violence.

The Fond du Lac County Department of Social Services, the
Solutions Center and Agnesian Health Care/SSM Health Domestic Violence Services
signed the memorandum on October 30th. A news release says that while
each of the three agencies have “unique identities and differing
responsibilities” in addressing family violence, they recognize they are
stronger when they work together to address domestic violence and safety issues.

Officials say they will continue to work to build
relationships between their agencies, doing so by having team members complete
cross training to understand the roles of other agencies in dealing with
domestic violence. A statement says the memorandum “formalizes the commitment
of these agencies to work together to ensure safety and promote well being for
children and families.”
