TID Development Agreements Approved By FDL City Council

Ninety-two additional residential units will be created through three tax incremental district development agreements the Fond du Lac City Council approved last night with Commonwealth Management Corporation. Community Development Director Dyann Benson says that will include 21 units at the former St. Joseph’s School, 26 at the former St. Mary’s School and 45 more at the former Northern Casket Company site. She says it is fortunate someone was interested in the casket company site. She says the City had a raze or repair order on it, which the City deferred to give the property owner a chance to find an interested buyer. She says the City’s participation is the creation of the TID. The Council also held public hearings for the 2017 Transit Budget and 2017 Budget. No one spoke about either.
