Titan Stadium Introduces New Safety Measures

UW-Oshkosh pulverized UW-Platteville in their first home football game of the season – and it was also the first time fans saw new security measures at the gates of Titan Stadium. Officers were on hand to check people’s bags at the gate, looking for anything that could potentially be dangerous for the crowd. Some students are happy about the addition, saying more security will hopefully act as a deterrent and keep people from being too intoxicated or rowdy at the game as well. A list of prohibited items to bring into the stadium include thermos, selfie-sticks, laptops, drones, and poles for paper signs.
