Tommy Bartlett Cancels 2020 Dells Show Season

It’s been a part of summer for almost 70 years. But the waters near the Wisconsin Dells will not be home to the Tommy Bartlett Ski, Sky and Stage Show, at least not for 2020. The show was set to begin its summer run on May 22nd, but President and co-owner Tom Diehl said, with just a little over 100 days in which to host the shows, “we just didn’t have many options on how best to proceed.” 

Diehl says canceling the shows is catastrophic to the family-owned business where all the annual revenue is generated in basically a 3-month period that runs from Memorial Day and Labor Day. The move comes as a blow to the almost 115 staff they employ. Diehl did say they hope to be back up and running for the 2021 season.
