Tonette Walker Says Foxconn Announcement Exciting For The People Of Wisconsin

Wisconsin First Lady Tonette Walker was with her husband Governor Scott Walker at the White House Wednesday when it was announced that Foxconn would be building a $10 billion factory in Wisconsin. Mrs. Walker told KFIZ news it is great news for the state. She says she doesn’t know all the specifics, but does know that could mean up to 13,000 jobs created in the state over the next 10 years. She says both major parties will have to come together to create incentives to bring the electronics maker to Wisconsin. She says it is good to see Democrats and Republicans working together for the good of the people of Wisconsin. State Senator Dan Feyen also weighed in on the announcement saying it is a game changer for the entire Midwest.
