Toney Backing Schimel in Re-Election Bid
Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney is throwing
his support behind Attorney General Brad Schimel as he runs for re-election
next month. Toney calls him an “incredible partner with prosecutors all across
the state” – and commends his efforts for fighting the opioid epidemic,
internet crimes against children, and violent sex offenders. Schimel – who has

Attorney General since 2014 – faces Democratic challenger Josh Kaul in the
