Total Negative COVID-19 Tests Top 134,000 In WI

The latest COVID-19 numbers for Wisconsin, released Saturday afternoon by the Department of Health Services, show 5,191 active cases of COVID-19 in the state. As recently as Tuesday, the percent of positive cases stood at 3.9%. As of Saturday that number rose to 8.3%, with 502 new cases having been confirmed. It should be noted there are now 52 sites doing testing, with a daily capacity of 13,392 tests. DHS reported 5,549 negative tests. In total, Wisconsin as seen 12,187 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 6,542 listed as recovered. The latest numbers also show 453 people have died from COVID-19 in the state. Across the state, there have been 2,018 people hospitalized because of the virus, with a statewide ventilator supply of 1,265 and 331 being used. It’s also important to note there have been 134,206 negative test results.
