Trial Begins Today In Logan Foster Murder

The trial of Devon Neuman begins today in Fond du Lac County Court. Neuman is facing charges of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, stemming from the September 2017 shooting incident outside the Press Box Tavern, that ended with the death of then 30-year old Logan Foster.

Neuman and his accomplice, Jesse Schultz, were arrested in January of 2018, following a 3-month investigation.

The two Fond du Lac men allegedly robbed and murdered Foster and his body was found in the parking lot across from the Press Box Tavern the morning of September 23rd. Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein said at the time, surveillance photos they released in November of 2017 led to tips and through their investigation the two men became suspects in Foster’s death. Police allege the two men began talking with Foster that morning at the tavern and walked together across the street where Foster was shot twice and killed while they were trying to rob him.
