Trial For Man Accused Of Killing Wisconsin Brothers Moved To June

The trial for a Missouri man accused of killing two Shawano County brothers is being pushed back to June.

Originally scheduled to start on Monday, court records from Johnson County, Missouri indicate that the trial for 25-year-old Garland “Joey” Nelson will now take place from June 6th through-25th.

Nelson is charged with two counts of first-degree homicide in the deaths of Nicholas and Justin Diemel.

The brothers disappeared in the summer of 2019 after traveling to Missouri to collect 250-thousand dollars for a cattle sale to Nelson, who has reportedly admitted to hiding their remains but has denied killing them.”
