Trial For Murderers Sister Underway

A jury trial is underway for the 36-year-old Fond du Lac woman suspected of helping her sister hide the body of a murder victim. Tina Ewell is suspected of helping her sister Eve Nance dispose of the body of Nance’s husband Tim Nance after she shot and killed him in November of 2013. In May Nance was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for the murder. Ewell is charged with hiding a corpse, aiding a felon, and obstructing an officer. A charge of failing to report a death was dismissed by a prosecutor’s motion Monday. The trial is scheduled to run through Friday in Fond du Lac County court.
