Tuesday’s WIAA Boys Golf Regional Results

Division 1 Regional – hosted by Neenah: 

Fond du Lac placed fourth at the Neenah Regional on Tuesday, shooting a 345 as a team. Wyatt Pfeiffer led the Cardinals individually, scoring a 79 to tie for third place, while Cole Thorin was in an eight-way tie for fifth with an 82. 

The fourth place finish means Fondy will advance to sectionals next week as a team. Sheboygan North won the regional title with a 307, Manitowoc Lincoln was second with a 341 and Neenah third with a 344.

Division 2 Regional – hosted by Lomira: 

Waupun, Kiel, Lomira and Valders will be advancing to Sectionals as a team after taking the top four spots at the Lomira Regional on Tuesday. Waupun shot a 339 to win the regional title, with Kiel and Lomira tying for second place with a 376. Valders was fourth with a 394. 

Also at the Lomira regional – Mayville and New Holstein tied for fifth, each with a 397. Campbellsport was seventh with a 408 and North Fond du Lac eighth with a 427. 

Chilton’s Bennett Glidden was the individual champion, firing a 79 to take first place. Other individual qualifiers for sectionals include Campbellsport’s Luke Eichstedt, who tied for sixth with an 84, along with Adam Scholz and Elijah Meyer from New Holstein who both shot a 93 to tie for ninth.

Division 2 Regional – hosted by Wisconsin Dells:

Ripon placed fourth as a team at the Wisconsin Dells Regional on Tuesday and qualified for sectionals next week. The Tigers shot a 364, and were led individually by Sam Yeomans who fired an 82 to take fifth place.

Division 3 Regional – hosted by Markesan: 

Princeton/Green Lake placed third as a team and will compete at Sectionals next week. P/GL scored a 416, led by Alexander Douglas – who captured the individual regional title by shooting a 79. 

Oakfield’s Noah Patterson qualified for sectionals as an individual. Patterson shot a 90 to take third place in the standings. 

Central Wisconsin Christian placed sixth as a team, shooting a 446. The Crusaders were led by freshman Aydenn Brown, who tied for 16th with a 107.
