Two Bound Over For Trial Who Attacked FDL County Sheriff’s Deputy

The Two Fond du Lac County men suspected of attacking a Sheriff’s deputy have been bound over for trial. Twenty-two-year-old Colton O’Brien (above) of Eden and 19-year-old Tanner Gremminger (below) of Campbellsport recently had a preliminary hearing. Charges stem from a July 5th incident in the Town of Ashford. O’Brien allegedly hit the deputy in the face and body and tried to take his handgun from his holster. Gremminger took the deputy’s stun gun, but didn’t use it. Both men got away. O’Brien’s case was transferred to Judge Richard Nuss and Gremminger’s to Judge Dale English.
