Two Charged For Ripon Dorm Thefts

Two area men have been charged for allegedly stealing from students in a Ripon College dorm. Seventeen-year-old Dustin Duenkel of Beaver Dam and 18-year-old Hevane Richards of Markesan each face 6 counts each of burglary and theft. Duenkel is also charged with criminal trespass and possessing drug paraphernalia. Ripon Police suspect the two pulled fire alarms in a college dorm early last Saturday morning. While students were out of the building for the alarm the two allegedly entered the rooms and took clothing, cash and electronics. Duenkel has a preliminary hearing on May 12th and Richards on April 7th.
