Two Hurt In Dodge County Accident
A Fond du Lac man and Waupun teen were
seriously injured when their SUV went into a ditch and rolled over Saturday
morning in Dodge County. Sheriff’s officials say they responded to an accident
on County Highway F near the intersection with County Highway FF in the Town of
Trenton shortly before 9 a.m. Derek Junaitis of Fond du Lac was driving when his
SUV went into a counter clockwise spin. The SUV went into a ditch and overturned
several times. Junaitis and a passenger, 17-year-old Bailey Zech, were taken to
Waupun Memorial Hospital with serious injuries and were later transferred to the
UW Hospital in Madison. Speed. alcohol and failure to use seatbelts were factors
in the crash.
