Two Injured In Fall From Pickup Truck

Two people were injured after falling out of the bed of a pickup truck early Sunday morning in the Village of St. Cloud. According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred just after Midnight in the area of Railroad Avenue and Thorp Street in St. Cloud. There, several people were riding in the bed of a pickup truck that was leaving a home to travel to a local bar. During the ride to the bar, 31 year old Shana E. Boll fell from the moving pickup truck and hit her head on the roadway. 26 year old Luke B. Boll jumped out of the truck to help her and also hit his head on the roadway. The two injured people were flown separately from the scene by helicopter for treatment. The female was taken to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah and the male flown to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee. The driver of the pickup truck, a 25 year old Fond du Lac man, was cited for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Under The Influence. The incident remains under investigation.
