Two Injured in Motorcycle Crash south of FDL

A man
and a woman suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash south of Fond du Lac Monday
evening. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office along with the Eden Fire
Department and City of Fond du Lac Ambulance were called to the scene on
Highway 45 north of Baudry Lane around 7:42 pm. Reports say 35-year-old James Walsh from Lomira was driving north on Highway 45, which is closed for construction,
when he hit a large pile of gravel. The motorcycle became airborne, ejecting the
man and his passenger, 29-year-old Tristynn Walsh from Lomira. A bystander began CPR
on Walsh until a Sheriff’s Deputy arrived on scene and took over performing
CPR. He was transported by Flight For Life to Theda
Clark Hospital
in Neenah, while she was taken by ambulance to St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du
Lac
. The Sheriff’s Office says neither of them were wearing a helmet and that alcohol is believed to be a
factor in the crash.
