Two Injured In Separate Early Morning Accidents

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials say a semi was traveling north on I-41 near Military Road in Fond du Lac when it blew a tire on the driver’s side, crashed into the median barrier and overturned early Saturday morning. The driver a 32-year-old Manitowoc man was taken to St. Agnes Hospital with minor injuries. The truck was carrying 20,000 pounds of bread, but none of that was spilled. The accident was reported at 4:31 a.m. 



Earlier in the morning the Sheriff’s Office handled an accident on Highway 151. Officials say a 35-year-old Chilton woman went off the road near Kiekhaefer Parkway. Her vehicle went down an embankment and hit a tree. Theda Star helicopter flew her to ThedaCare in Neenah with serious injuries. The accident was reported at 12:25 a.m.
A truck driver was hurt this morning when a truck crashed on Highway 41 at Military Road in Fond du Lac. Police say the driver was heading north, but ended up on the southbound side. The truck was carrying 18 to 20 thousand pounds of bread. The driver was taken to St. Agnes hospital to be checked over. The accident was reported around 4:30 a.m.
