Two More Wells Shut Down In WI

Two more central Wisconsin communities have had to shut down their wells due to PFAS contamination.

Wisconsin Public Radio reports that Marshfield has shut down four of its wells following a positive test for PFAS earlier this month.

Adams had to shut down one of its two wells. Both cities took part in the state’s voluntary PFAS testing program.

The DNR says over 100 sites across Wisconsin are now showing signs of contamination.
