Unemployment Rates Holding Steady
The unemployment rates for the City and County of Fond du Lac held nearly steady in August. According to Federal Labor statistics the unemployment rate for the City was up a tenth of a percent to 3.4 percent while the County’s jobless rate remained steady at 3 percent. In August of last year the City’s unemployment rate was 3.9 percent and the County’s was at 3.7 percent.
