Unresponsive Woman Rescued from Campbellsport Pool

The 36 year old Campbellsport woman who was found unresponsive in a pool Thursday night and revived by first responders has died. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says Jessica Meyer died at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac on Friday. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the incident. The sheriff’s department continues to investigate the incident.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department has released the name of the 36-year-old Campbellsport woman who was found unresponsive in a pool Thursday night. Jessica Meyer was removed from the 5-foot deep pool and rendered aid. Efforts to revive her were successful and she was taken to St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. Campbellsport EMS and First Responders, and the City of Fond du Lac Ambulance also assisted at the scene. The County’s Communication Center got a call at 7:42 p.m. reporting the incident.

A 36 year old woman from Campbellsport was taken to St Agnes Hospital after she was found unresponsive in a swimming pool Thursday evening. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the call to a home in Campbellsport around 7:42 pm. After arriving, they found that Campbellsport first responders had removed the woman from the five-foot deep pool and were rendering aid. Efforts to revive the woman were successful and she was taken to the hospital. Campbellsport EMS and the City of Fond du Lac Ambulance also assisted at the scene. The woman’s name and condition are not being released at this time. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
