UW FDL Student Housing Facility Off To A Modest Start

The new student housing at the UW Fond du Lac is off to a modest start in its first year. Fifty-five students are living in the facility since it opened in the past month. Northeastern Regional Executive Officer and Dean Martin Rudd says they didn’t expect to fill all 120 beds in the first year the housing was available. They are anticipating more students will sign up for housing next year as the reputation and the use of the facility increases. Rudd says he and UW officials, and the developers and managers of the facility, are happy with the occupancy for the first year of the facility. He feels from a student perspective it is a great thing to have.
