UW-Oshkosh Assault Suspect to Appear in Court

One of the men accused of assaulting four UW-Oshkosh
students last month is set to appear in court today. 18-year old Nasir Jackson
is scheduled for a motion hearing this afternoon in Winnebago County Court.
Jackson and 20-year old Domonick Strope are each charged with three counts of
substantial battery and a count of theft as parties to a crime.

They allegedly
attacked students just off of campus around 1:00am the morning of September 8th.
Police tracked down Jackson
through Snapchat, after he exchanged information with a victim before attacking
the man and his girlfriend.

Jackson
also has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Monday. Strope, who also faces
more than twenty felony bail jumping charges, is set to appear in court next
month.
