UW-Whitewater Chancellor Put On Administrative Leave

He was hired as the new Chancellor at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, following the resignation of former Chancellor Beverly Kopper, who resigned back in December of 2018. Now, the man who was hired to replace her has been put on administrative leave. Chancellor Dwight Watson was placed on paid administrative leave Thursday pending the outcome of an investigation into an unspecified complaint. UW System Interim President Tommy Thompson released a statement, saying UW-Whitewater’s provost, Greg Cook, will assume the duties until the investigation is complete.
