Vandals Hit Fondy Junior Football Complex

Fond du Lac Police are continuing their investigation into vandalism that occurred at the Junior Football Complex at Baker Field Sunday night. Fondy Junior Football officials say the vandalism occurred about 7:10 p.m. It took about four hours to clean up the mess. Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein says a total of 18 decorative bricks were damaged. Two of them were customized with writing noting a donor’s contribution to the complex. Video from a surveillance camera shows two girls throwing the bricks on a concrete surface at the complex. Klein says they do have some strong leads in the case. He says the damage at 389 Morris Street was reported to the police department at 9:20 p.m. Sunday evening.
