Vehicle Recovered In Rock River

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate how a vehicle ended up in the Rock River. Deputies were called Wednesday afternoon (June 9, 2021) at 2:56pm the Dodge County from people swimming in the Rock River off of the bridge on Elmwood Road in the Town of Hustisford, who reported a submerged vehicle. The Hustisford Fire Department was able to deploy a watercraft in the river and was able to confirm this information.

The Beaver Dam Fire Department Dive Team was called in to assist and they were able to verify that the vehicle was unoccupied. Advanced Towing responded and pulled the vehicle from the river and it was apparent this was a discarded BMW 323. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office will be handling the investigation into how the vehicle ended up in the river.
