Victim of Lake Winnebago Seaplane Crash Indentified

A 71-year-old woman from Minnesota has been identified as the
victim of a seaplane crash on Lake Winnebago Thursday evening. The Winnebago
County Sheriff’s Office says Diane Linker of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota was a
passenger in a six-seat seaplane that hit a large wave and overturned while
trying to take off from the EAA Seaplane Base just south of Oshkosh. Linker
died Friday. Sheriff’s officials say another person remains in critical
condition at an area hospital. Two others suffered non-life-threatening
injuries as a result of the accident.
