Victims Named In Dodge County Crash

A Thursday evening crash in Dodge County has taken the lives of two Juneau residents. The names of the victims have been released. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were on the scene Thursday, April 9, 2020 at approximately 9:00PM, on County Highway W near Hillcrest Rd. in the Town of Oak Grove.  


Deputies say  a Chevy Cobalt was traveling eastbound on County Highway W, when it collided head on with a Chevy Silverado that was traveling westbound on County Highway W. The Cobalt was driven by 22-year old Ryan A. Wehrmann from Juneau who was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office. A passenger in the Cobalt, 24-year old Tegan M. Strook also from Juneau, was pronounced dead at the scene. 


The 21-year old driver of the Silverado, Blake G. Haines from Fox Lake, was transported to Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam by Juneau EMS and Beaver Dam Paramedics, and then transported by UW Med Flight to UW Hospital with serious injuries. The crash is under investigation.  Assisting on scene were Juneau Fire/EMS, Beaver Dam Fire/Paramedics, the Dodge County Medical Examiner’s Office, Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Chaplain and Wisconsin State Patrol.
