Video Of Fair Fight Could Lead To Citations

Teenage girls who got in a fight on the midway at the Dodge County Fair will be cited for the incident and so will bystanders who took video of the incident and posted it on You Tube. Sheriff Pat Ninmann says 13 and 14 year-old girls got into a fight at the Fair last Friday night. She says they talked with the girls afterwards, but didn’t become aware of the video until later. Three people posted video on the popular website they took with cell phones. She says they could be cited for failing to render aid, basically not calling authorities or do something about the fight. She says the girls were fighting and swearing while the crowd egged them on. She says that’s not why people go to the Fair. The video has since been taken down from You Tube, but the Sheriff says they got copies of it. She says the teens are facing disorderly conduct charges. Ninmann says the father of some small children can be seen in the video trying to break up the fight, but he’s the only one.
