Visit Santa, Decorate Gingerbread At FDL Library Holiday Parties

Kids, get your lists ready: Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Fond du Lac Public Library from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4. Parents can take photos of their kids with Santa, and the whole family can enjoy holiday stories and a craft. Every family will receive a free, new holiday book to take home. Santa’s visit is free and open to the public; no registration required.

Kids 12 and younger are invited to the Gingerbread Decoration Party on Saturday, December 14. Registration for one of two sessions – 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. – is required starting December 1 online at www.fdlpl.org,  click Calendar, or by calling the Children’s Desk at (920) 322-3940. Space is limited. The event is free, but each family is asked to bring one bag of candy to share that will be used for gingerbread house decorations.

The Fond du Lac Public Library supports a high quality of life in Fond du Lac through reading, lifelong learning and community involvement. There are three locations: Main Library, 32 Sheboygan St.; FDLPL Express, near Festival Foods; and Journeys at St. Agnes, inside the hospital. For more information, visit www.fdlpl.org.

Thanks to a $500 donation from the Fond du Lac Evening Optimist Club, families will be able to visit with Santa and receive a free holiday book at the December 4 Visit Santa event at the Fond du Lac Public Library. Club members visited the Children’s Room at the library to get a sneak peak at one of the books.
