Vos Says Probe Could Wrap Up By End Of Feb.

Speaker Robin Vos says he hopes a partisan probe into the 2020 presidential election will be wrapped up by the end of the month.

The Republican leader says there’s been a lack of cooperation with the investigation led by former state Supreme Court justice Mike Gableman, who’s issued multiple subpoenas.

“Because a lot of these things are being blocked by the liberals who have literally being spending time since September trying to do everything they possibly could to obfuscate and obstruct.

We still have to litigate a lot of those situations to make sure the legislature has the power to move forward, and we shouldn’t let someone’s own obstruction of justice be the reason that we don’t get our investigation done.”

Gableman is seeking to jail the mayors of Madison, Green Bay and Racine, and several local elections officials, over their failure to respond to subpoenas. He’d earlier said he expected to conclude his investigation by the end of February.
