Vote Totals From Tuesday Show Strong Turnout In County
Despite
the COVID-19 concerns, voter turnout Tuesday was strong. FDL County Clerk Lisa
Freiberg tell KFIZ News that 24,779 votes were cast, with 8,457 coming from the
city of
and 16,322 from the rest of the county. There are still 1,568 outstanding
ballots.
said the numbers from Tuesday represent a 44% turnout county-wide. The numbers
do not include the absentee ballots, with those numbers not being known until
April 13, which is the final day absentee ballots can be received via the mail.
