Walker Reportedly Used State Plane Over 800 Times Since 2015

A liberal advocacy group says Governor Scott Walker used a state airplane on 869 flights since dropping out of the presidential race in September 2015 – including eleven trips under 64 miles. One Wisconsin Now put together public records on flight data, releasing the findings this week. The flights from September 2015 to this past April cost taxpayers about $818,000. In his first term, Walker and his cabinet spend over $250,000 a year for travels on state planes, while this report shows an average around $316,000. Democratic Governor Jim Doyle spent about $240,000 on state planes during each of his last two years in office. Walker
calls the report “propaganda” sent out by a “liberal attack group”.
