Warrant Issued For Mayville Woman Who Crashed Into Police Car

A Dodge County judge has issued a warrant for a Mayville woman suspected of crashing into a police vehicle while under the influence of pot and cocaine. Nineteen-year-old Cierra Metz failed to show up for her initial appearance Monday.  According to the criminal complaint last July Metz crashed into a Mayville squad car even though the officer saw her coming and tried to avoid a collision. He was treated at Beaver Dam Community Hospital for injuries to his neck, back, and head. Metz admitted to smoking marijuana before the crash and taking cocaine the day before. A blood test confirmed both substances in her system. She and her passenger were not injured in the crash.
