Washington County Deputies Recover Stolen Car

A stolen car full of teens swerved in front of the wrong vehicle on I-41 in the Town of Addison early Thursday morning. The vehicle had two Washington County Sheriff’s deputies in it returning from a prisoner escort. The deputies checked on the license plate and found it had been stolen from the Menasha area a couple days before. With the aid of Slinger Police a high-risk traffic stop was conducted. The car had five teens in it. The 16-year-old Menasha boy driving it was arrested for driving a stolen vehicle. A 17-year-old Green Bay man was arrested for stealing the vehicle. Three others ranging in ages from 16 to 18, were released.
