Washington County Man Shot By Gun Seller

A 35-year-old Town of Farmington man
was treated at Froedtert Hospital early Sunday morning after he was accidentally
shot by another man trying to sell him a handgun. Washington County Sheriff’s
officials say a 36-year-old Village of Newburg man was trying to sell the victim
a gun when it went off and a round hit the victim in the arm. The incident
happened in an apartment at 451 Main Street in Newburg. The victim was treated
at Froedtert and released. The Newburg man trying to sell him the gun was
arrested for intoxicated use of a firearm.
