Washington County Sheriff’s Office Looking For Suspicious Man

Washington County Sheriff’s officials are looking for a 38-year-old man last seen in the northern unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest. Larry Arnold abandoned a roommate’s vehicle on a snowmobile trail in the State Forest in the Town of Kewaskum. A hiker discovered it last Saturday and reported it to the Sheriff’s office. A search of the area Sunday and Monday wasn’t fruitful. Arnold is a registered sex offender, but isn’t currently on supervision. He’s also wanted on a couple of felony warrants issued by the Wood County Sheriff’s Office in 2010 for bail jumping and contempt of court. He’s also a known drug user with a minor criminal history. Arnold didn’t make any threats to harm himself or others. However he should be considered potentially dangerous. If you see him or see some suspicious activity in the Kettle Moraine State Forest call the Washington County Sheriff’s Office at 262-335-4411.
