Washington County Sheriff’s Race

Washington County now has two Republican candidates that have announced their intention to run for Sheriff. Sheriff’s Lieutenant Jason Guslick is the latest to announce. Sheriff’s Captain Martin Schulteis had previously announced. Candidates for office in the fall can not take out nomination papers until April 15th, but if the two run that would set up a primary race on August 14th.  Sheriff Dale Schmidt will not be seeking a fourth term.
