Waukesha Parade Victims To Receive Money Soon

Waukesha charity leaders will soon disperse money raised to help victims of last year’s Christmas parade attack.

Five-and-a-half million dollars. That’s how much money has been donated to the United for Waukesha Community Fund.

Monday was the deadline to apply for a share of the money, but fund officials say more requests are still trickling in.

A non-profit watchdog group recently raised concerns over how much of the money is going to victims. Officials with the community fund plan to meet soon and start issuing checks.
