Waupun Advances to Division 3 Title Game

Waupun defeated Dominican in the D3 semifinal in girls’ basketball 47 to 29.

Poor shooting and turnovers affected both teams in this contest. Waupun shot 36% from the field, luckily, Dominican was worse with 24%. Turnovers also favored Waupun 15-21.

Waupun led 23-11 at half and cruised to the 18 point win.

Peterson had a game high 22 points for the Warriors.

Next up is Freedom, who beat St Croix Falls 66-36. Championship game will be at 3 on Saturday.
