Waupun Correctional Inmate Enters “Not Guilty” Plea

A Waupun Correctional Institute inmate says he is “not guilty” of punching a correctional officer. 28-year old Andrew Whitcomb faces charges of battery by a prisoner and disorderly conduct in connection to an August incident at the facility, where he allegedly hit the officer in the face. Whitcomb is already serving a lengthy sentence for armed robbery – but could have another six years tacked onto his time. A telephone scheduling conference is set for November.
