Waupun School District Administrator Resigns

The Waupun School District is looking for a new superintendent. This week the Waupun School Board accepted the resignation of Superintendent Tonya Olson. Olson will become the principal at Belleville Elementary School in Belleville, Wisconsin. She has been the superintendent in Waupun for the past six years. In her resignation letter, Olson noted that her new position will allow her to spend more time with family. In a press release, Waupun School Board President Bill Bruins praised Olson for the great job she has done for the district and says it is in a better position today because of her work. Bruins says the school board will begin work immediately to recruit a new district administrator. The board hopes to have a new superintendent in place by the fall.
