Waupun Teen Charged For Stabbing

A Waupun teen is free on a signature bond after being charged for a stabbing in Waupun over the weekend. Eighteen-year-old Nicholas Core made an initial appearance in Dodge County court. He is charged with Injury by Negligent Use of a Weapon. A comment posted on social media about a girl was the catalyst for the stabbing in front of a home in the 500 block of West Brown Street. An 18-year-old Randolph man suffered a two-inch cut to his arm and was treated at Waupun Memorial Hospital.   A preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 10th. Core was released on a $1,000 signature bond.
