Waupun to Host 9/11 Mobile Exhibit This Summer

The City of Waupun will host a 9/11 memorial exhibit this summer. The 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit will be on display during Celebrate Waupun on June 29th and 30th. The 53-foot trailer transforms into an 1,100 square foot exhibit that will allow people to see artifacts from the towers, watch documentaries and listen to first responder radio transmissions. People will be able to hear firsthand how the events of September 11th, 2001 unfolded in front of first responders. It will be just the second time this 9/11 exhibit has stopped in in Wisconsin, the last coming in 2013. The exhibit will be on display at Tanner Park in Waupun from Noon until 8 pm each day of the festival. The Waupun Fire Department and Waupun Festivals are seeking donations to help bring the exhibit to town. Visit cityofwaupun.org or waupunfestivals.com to donate. Learn more about the exhibit here.
