Waupun Woman Sentenced For Stealing From Mother In Law

A 38-year-old Waupun woman was sentenced this week to four months in jail for stealing almost $27,000 from her mother-in-law. Last November Nicole Grauvogl pled no contest to two felony counts. Sentencing on the second felony charge was postponed until next January. Officers say they found more than 100 transactions at a Waupun convenience store from the victim’s account. But the store’s surveillance video identified Grauvogl as the suspect. Grauvogl was also placed on probation for four years and was ordered to pay over $26,000 in restitution.
