WEC And Local Clerks Offer Tips Ahead Of August 6 Primary

The August primary election is quickly approaching and the Wisconsin Elections Commission wants voters to vote smartly this summer.

Administrator Meghan Wolfe says that even though this is a partisan primary election, ballots continue to remain secret and you can vote for whichever party you want.

“Those ballots are all kept confidential in secret, there is nothing that ties your ballot back to you.”

However, if you vote for candidates for more than one party, your vote will be tossed. The election is August 6th.
