WEC Says Election Probe Report Inaccurate

The Wisconsin Elections Commission says that Mike Gableman’s second preliminary report on the 2020 election is filled with inaccuracies. WEC administrator Megan Wolfe tells Capital City Sunday that clearly more work has to be done on educating the public on elections.

“So I think we all share responsibility. When we see information that’s incomplete when we see information that is misleading. When we see people involving themselves in elections in a way that is not transparent.”

The Commssion released a response to that report on Friday that says that many of Gableman’s claims are entirely false, or show a lack of understanding of the state statutes.

Gableman’s report called for dissolving the Commission and also making an attempt to undo Wisconsin’s certification of President Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 election.
