Weekend Meals Offered as Part of FDL School District’s Food Distribution on Friday

The Fond du Lac School District continues to offer food service
to children while schools are closed, and thanks to the efforts of another
community group meals for the weekend will be available for kids during Friday’s
distribution.

An update from the district tells us that the Food for Thought
program from the Fondy Food Pantry will have 700 “shelf-stable” meals for the
weekend available Friday (March 20th) at the district’s food sites
at Sabish Middle School, Riverside and Parkside Elementary Schools, the Boys
& Girls Club, Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds and the Fond du Lac Public
Library.

Meals are free to all children in the district 18-and-under,
including siblings that are not of school age. The Grab & Go meals are distributed
Monday through Friday from 11 am until 1 pm at the locations listed above, in
addition to Fond du Lac High School.
