Weekly Gas Price Report – Wisconsin still below National Average

Wisconsin’s average price for a gallon of gas remains below
the national average as we begin the last full week of July. As of Sunday night,
Triple-A reports Wisconsin’s average price at the pump to be $2.73, four cents
cheaper than the nationwide average of $2.77. The Fond du Lac area is seeing
the lowest average price in the state at $2.62, while Barron County and Iron
County have the highest at $2.87. Around the nation, drivers in California
continue to see the highest cost per gallon at $3.71. Triple-A reports Mississippi
has the lowest average price at $2.39 a gallon.
