West Bend Arson Suspect Competent To Stand Trial

The 21-year-old West Bend man suspected of setting fires outside three businesses in February has withdrawn his insanity plea following a second mental evaluation. A Washington County judge last month Lucas Greenwood was competent to stand trial, but a second mental evaluation was ordered. He allegedly started fires in a wicker basket, dumpster, and utility trailer outside separate businesses in West Bend. He is being held in the Washington County Jail on a $2,500 cash bond. His next court date is May 31st.
