West Bend Thief Sought

Police in West Bend are looking for a man in his 20s or early 30s involved in two recent robberies. The first occurred last Sunday afternoon when the thief took a woman’s purse while she was unloading items from a shopping car into her vehicle in the Wal-Mart parking lot. The second was Wednesday morning at a Citgo station where he approached an 85-year-old man and asked for a dollar. While the victim was taking a bill from his wallet the thief grabbed the wallet and ran. Neither victim was injured. Police say the suspect was driving a green Toyota 4 Runner that was made between 1999 and 2002. (Similar vehicle pictured).
